TOEIC® Listening and Reading
TOEIC® Listening and Reading certification offers an international standard for measuring and determining the English-language skills of non-native speakers in daily life and the global workplace. TOEIC® Listening and Reading test format
The TOEIC® test is a paper-and-pencil, multiple-choice assessment. There are two separately timed sections of 100 questions each.

Test formats
TOEIC® Speaking test format
The TOEIC® Speaking test comprises 11 questions that measure different aspects of test takers’ speaking ability.
TOEIC BRIDGE™
The TOEIC Bridge™ test is the ideal test to measure learners’ emerging English–language skills at beginner to intermediate level. It offers an international standard for academic institutions and language training programmes to measure existing skills and determine which aspects of language development need further attention. The tests use common everyday vocabulary, phrases and key expressions that reflect and describe real-world situations.
The TOEIC Bridge™ is a paper-and-pencil, multiple-choice assessment. There are two separately timed sections of 50 questions each.
Registration
Candidates can register for the test by calling our call centre or through one of our registration centres. You must submit your application 14 working days in advance of the test date, along with your payment and the following documents:
- Payment slip
- Two passport-size colour photographs
- A photocopy of your passport or NIC.
